Welcome to Steve & Megan's Travelog #3. If you don't know why this is Travelog number 3, then why not take a look at Travelog #2 or even Travelog #1. We enjoyed our recent trip around Peru & Boliva very much and decided that we had more to do. Specifically, we have always had Northern India on our list. Location and climate mean that India has never really fitted with any of our other destinations and we wanted to dedicate a trip to the area since there is so much to see.
So, the intention this time is that we spend three months exploring the northern part of India. Specifically, we will be spending most of our time in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh provinces. Well, that's the plan at this stage!
Again, we will be using the old format of just sticking words and pictures up here and then emailing interested people when there's something to see. So you don't need to keep checking (if you ever intended to!).
The technology worked well last time so we will be sticking with it for this trip. For those who are interested in these things, this blog is written on an Acer Aspire One running Lubuntu. Photos are taken on a Nikon D40 with the 18-200 (f/3.5-5.6 IF-ED AFS VR DX) lens and occasional SB400 flash. All photos are basic jpegs published straight out of the camera with no post-processing. Raw files are being saved for a later date! Using this setup means the blog can be written at any time and then uploaded when Internet access is available.
