Welcome to Steve & Megan's Travelog #2. If you don't know why this is Travelog number 2, then why not take a look at Travelog #1. Since we embarked on that little escapade, the World has moved on and everyone is quite blase about global communications; last time not so much! In a homage to the last blog, we have kept the same general style. Some call it dated, we call it "retro"! There have been some requests to be able to add comments here and everyone wants a Google-style, minimalist white on black colour scheme but, you know what, no one has ever asked us for advertisement-riddled pages where the content can barely be distinguished from the surrounding crud. So, there's none of that here; just words (and hopefully a few pictures) on a rather cheesy coloured 1990s-style background.
For those who are interested in these things, this blog is written on an Acer Aspire One running Lubuntu. Photos are taken on a Nikon D40 with the 18-200 (f/3.5-5.6 IF-ED AFS VR DX) lens and occasional SB400 flash generally for fill-in due to harsh sunlight. All photos are basic jpegs published straight out of the camera with no post-processing. Raw files are being saved for a later date! Using this setup means the blog can be written at any time and then uploaded when Internet access is available.
